Zorro Ranch is mentioned repeatedly in the so-called Epstein documents. Now a commission will investigate suspicions of human trafficking and abuse at the property in New Mexico, U.S. media report.
Epstein owned the 3,000-acre ranch from 1993 until his death in 2019. Despite a previous criminal investigation - and despite several women testifying about abuse on the ranch - no one has been charged.
"He basically did whatever he wanted in this state without any accountability whatsoever," Democrat Andrea Romero told NBC News.
Suspected perpetrators who emerge from the investigation will be publicly named, Romero promises.
