Several people who claim to have been abused by Jeffrey Epstein say they felt humiliated during Wednesday's committee hearing with U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The hearing dealt, among other things, with the Department of Justice's handling of the Epstein case.

"There was such a lack of empathy today. There was such a lack of, frankly, humanity today," said Dani Bensky of NBC.

Bensky has said that she was 17 years old when she was abused by Epstein.

Bondi was asked during the hearing to turn to Epstein's victims who were present and apologize, which she did not do.

Sharlene Rochard, who met Epstein as a teenager, said she felt humiliated and that Bondi "took no responsibility whatsoever" for the victims.
