The woman, who is anonymous, was abused by the now deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2009. She reported the incident to the FBI the same year.
The US Department of Justice has since Friday released thousands of documents and images from the so-called Epstein files. However, critics say that only a small portion of all the material has been released, and a large portion of the documents are redacted in whole or in part.
But the woman's name is included, even though she has contacted the Department of Justice on two occasions and asked them to anonymize her.
"The reason I feel so strongly about this is because it's not just about what happened to me. I'm worried about other little girls who are calling the FBI right now and asking for help," the woman told CNN.
She has received several unwanted phone calls since the Epstein files were released, she says.
"It haunts me," she says.
