Several media outlets, including the BBC and The Guardian, are reporting on the missing items that were discovered on Friday evening, local time.
"We are investigating a suspected theft of equipment from a police vehicle that arrived in Kansas City with items missing," a police spokesman said, according to the BBC.
England play their first World Cup match against Croatia in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday. The team arrives in Kansas City on Saturday.
