It is a while since Harvey Elliott celebrated the Premier League victory with his Liverpool. But the season is not over – and yet another heavy title can be secured.

On Sunday, Elliott and his England will play against Germany for the gold in the U21 European Championship in Slovakia.

Elliott scored both goals in the 2–1 win against the Netherlands in tonight's semifinal in Bratislava.

The decisive goal came with only four minutes left of regular time, after Noah Ohio had equalized for the Netherlands in the 72nd minute.

England is the reigning champion and will face Germany in Saturday's final. Already after a quarter of an hour played in the semifinal against France, Nelson Weiper and Nick Woltemade had given the Germans a 2–0 lead.

A result that stood over the regular 90 minutes, largely thanks to the strong performance of German goalkeeper Noah Atubolus. In the fifth minute of extra time, Brajan Gruda made it 3–0.
