Solör Bioenergi District Heating has been noted for being expensive. In last year's review by the Nils Holgersson Group, the company had the 27th most expensive network in the country.

Now the Energy Market Inspectorate (Ei) has ordered a halt to the latest price increases introduced in 2026 in several of the company's networks, according to a decision from Ei.

The reason is that Solör has not informed customers correctly.

"The company shall immediately stop applying the changed district heating prices for 2026 in those district heating networks where the information to customers does not comply with the requirements of the District Heating Act," Ei said.

Solör Bioenergi has hundreds of thousands of customers in Sweden.
