A 14-year-old died when he was crushed under a smaller work vehicle at his summer job. Now an employer in western Sweden is being convicted of work environment crimes, reports P4 Sjuhärad.
The employer is being sentenced to a conditional sentence, 80 day-fines, and a million kronor in corporate fines.
According to the verdict in the Borås district court, the boy should not have worked alone and was also too young to drive the vehicle.
The accident occurred in August 2023.
