Emma Nordin, All-Time Top Scorer in Women's Hockey League, Retires

The Swedish women's hockey league's top scorer of all time, Emma Nordin, is ending her career.

"My first love. Thanks for 27 wonderful years", the 34-year-old writes on Instagram.

Nordin made 679 points in the regular season and playoffs during her career, making her the SDHL's top scorer in history.

Besides the record, she has on her merit list seven Swedish championships (six with Luleå Hockey/MSSK, one with Modo) as well as playing in six World Championship tournaments and four Olympic Games with the Women's Crown."

"Thanks for all the fantastic years on the ice, we will miss you", Luleå writes on social media.

In 2018 and 2019, she was also named player of the year in Sweden.
