The gaming company Embracer is being sued by two British game developers, who are demanding just over 90 million kronor. Embracer disputes the claim.

The dispute concerns royalties for a game that was supposedly developed by British developers. In 2021, ownership rights to the game ended up with Saber Interactive, which was then owned by Embracer. The game stopped being sold the following year, writes Nya Wermlands-Tidningen.

According to the game developers, a previous agreement has not been complied with. They are now seeking shares or compensation totalling more than 90 million kronor in a lawsuit filed with the Värmland District Court, according to the newspaper.

Embracer sold most of its stake in Saber Active in 2024.
