Elon Musk's AI company XAI has acquired the platform X. The tech billionaire announces this on X.
According to Musk, XAI is worth 80 billion dollars, and X 33 billion – equivalent to 800 billion and 330 billion kronor, respectively.
"XAI and X's future is intertwined. Today, we take the official step to combine data, models, calculations, distribution, and talent", Musk writes and continues: "This is just the beginning".
When Musk bought X, which was then called Twitter, in April 2022, the deal was reported to be worth around 44 billion dollars.
