The world's richest man, Elon Musk, laid out over 250 million dollars (2.7 billion kronor) to help Donald Trump win the presidential election in the USA, writes The New York Times.
The amount is enormous for a single donor, but at the same time not a particularly large part of the corporate leader's total gigantic fortune.
Much of the money went to various political action committees.
Still, the total amount that Musk has spent on the election is not known – and may never be.
