Tesla's owner Elon Musk has had it tough, in several ways, lately. In addition to an escalating conflict with the President of the USA Donald Trump, Musk is also struggling with a raging stock price for the electric car manufacturer and thereby significantly reduced personal wealth.
According to Bloomberg's so-called billionaire index, which lists the world's richest people, Elon Musk has only become 12.1 billion dollars poorer in the last 24 hours, equivalent to approximately 113 billion Swedish kronor.
So far this year, Musk's wealth has decreased by almost 82 billion dollars, equivalent to almost 780 billion kronor.
But not everything is pitch black for Elon Musk's private economy. He is still, with a good margin, the world's richest person, according to Bloomberg's index.
Musk's wealth amounts to 350.6 billion dollars, according to the index, equivalent to 3,300 billion kronor.
The second richest in the world is Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who according to the index is worth 253.6 billion dollars, equivalent to 2,400 billion kronor.
