After just over an hour of play, national team player Elliot Stroud came on. He saw visiting Everton take a 2-1 lead just a few minutes later. But in the 74th minute, Stroud made his way down the left wing, as he had so many times before for Mjällby and the national team. His pass found fellow substitute Mohamed Belloumi, who scored to earn Hull a point.
24-year-old Elliot Stroud has played in five of Hull’s six Premier League games since moving from Mjällby in the summer. Hull are ninth in the table.
