"I'm super happy. I don't really think I've taken it in," Henriksson tells SVT.

At the U23 World Championships in Italy last year, Henriksson took bronze in the sprint.

The Norwegian favorite Oskar Opstad Vike - bronze medalist in the sprint at the recent Olympics - fell shortly before the start of the men's final. This opened up the possibility for Erik Bergström to challenge for the bronze medal, but the Swede, Bergström, also fell and finished fifth.

Olympic skier Anton Grahn was eliminated in the quarterfinals after finishing third in his heat.
