Swedish-born Eliasch, who has long lived in the UK and holds a British passport, is on the list of candidates for the presidency of the FIS. He is challenged by Anna Harboe Falkenberg (Denmark), Victoria Gosling (Great Britain), Alexander Ospelt (Liechtenstein) and Dexter Paine (USA).
Eliasch acquired Georgian citizenship and was thus able to be nominated by Georgia.
The annual meeting will take place in Belgrade on June 10-11.
