Lindholm tied the score at 2-2 with a wrist shot in the seventh minute of the third period. He followed that with an assist for teammate Marat Chusnutdinov, who scored the final goal of the game.
"We've been down in the third period a few times lately, but nobody gives up on this team. We just keep going and keep playing the same way, and we seem to find ways to win," Lindholm said, according to nhl.com.
For Detroit, Swedish forward Lucas Raymond also scored a goal.
The match ended 4–2 in Boston's favor, which is now two points ahead of Detroit in the hunt for the final playoff spots.
