The approximately 150 employees will receive up to a thousand kronor in damages from the company after negotiations with the union, reports the newspaper Arbetet.
"If you add it all up, it comes to around half a million kronor for the employees. It's one of the largest damages we've heard of, so it feels great," Johan Hambrink, club chairman for Handels, told Arbetet.
In addition to the compensation, the employees will be allowed to participate in a number of activities that the club has negotiated, such as a visit to Gekås in Ullared, a barbecue or bowling.
"Many are positive and think it will be nice. They are especially looking forward to the bus trip to Ullared. And bowling is always popular," says Johan Hambrink.
