It never really got very exciting. Toyota driver Evans led from Friday's second stage, and when the World Championship round was decided on Sunday, he was 12.8 seconds ahead of second-place Sébastien Ogier.
Sami Pajari came third.
“It was a fantastic weekend,” Evans told the WRC website.
Evans now leads the overall World Championship standings by 20 points to second-place Takamoto Katsuta of Japan after seven of 14 races. Sweden's Oliver Solberg, who had to retire in Japan after a crash, is third.
"There's a lot of racing left, so it's too early to talk about the title. Right now I just want to enjoy it," said Evans.
