There are mixed feelings for I think we meet a fairly weak Malmö today. I think we make a fairly good match and offer two goals in the first half. At the same time, as the situation looks in the half, it is strong with one point. But it still feels a bit bitter for this is a match we should win, for I think we are clearly better than them, says 2–2 scorer Rasmus Wikström in Max's broadcast after the match.

Daniél Gudjohnsen became a two-goal scorer for Malmö in the first half. The Icelander made a penalty kick and made his second after MFF won the ball high up in the field after carelessness in Elfsborg's defense.

”Feel hot”

In the 71st minute, Besfort Zeneli reduced with a shot from far out that Robin Olsen did not have time to perceive. Six minutes later, Rasmus Wikström equalized with his head on a corner.

I have a lot of confidence in set pieces, feel hot there, and then it usually works out, says Wikström.

Malmö has not won since 2021 against Elfsborg in Borås.

MFF had the chance to take over third place from AIK with a win, but after the draw, the Skåne team remains in fourth place, one point behind "Gnaget" which has one match less played.

Elfsborg is in seventh place, and has not won in five matches in Allsvenskan.

Great turnaround

In parallel, Sirius won against Gais with 3–0.

Earlier in the day, Öster won against Värnamo with 4–3 after a great turnaround with two goals in stoppage time.

Värnamo is now nine points from a qualifying spot in the Allsvenskan table with seven matches left to play.
