Eleven preschool teachers have died in an accident in the Indonesian province, when a fully loaded construction vehicle crashed into a minibus.
The preschool teachers had traveled from the Magelang district to attend a funeral in the Purworejo district, according to the local rescue service.
The truck is said to have lost control and crashed into the minibus, says police chief Andry Agustiano.
After hitting the minibus, the construction vehicle is said to have crashed into a house.
Traffic accidents are frequent in Indonesia, due to inadequate safety and poor roads.
