Four men from Tajikistan are sentenced to life in prison for carrying out the worst act of violence in Russia in almost 20 years.
Eleven men, including several Russian citizens, are given life sentences for aiding and abetting or having terrorist connections. Among them are people who sold a car to, and rented an apartment to, the four perpetrators. Four more men are sentenced to fixed-term sentences.
The attack on Crocus City Hall took place on March 22, 2024. In addition to the deaths, more than 600 people were injured.
The terrorist movement ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.
