Medical technology company Elekta will reduce its global workforce by around 450 employees, the company writes in its interim report. It is primarily the management positions within the company that will be affected when the company reduces the number of levels within the organization. The reorganization will ultimately save SEK 500 million annually.
The medical technology company reported this morning for the second quarter of its fiscal year. Net sales fell 6 percent, which was in line with expectations according to a Bloomberg report.
