Home appliance manufacturer Electrolux reports operating profit of SEK 890 million for the third quarter of this year. This compares with SEK 349 million in the same quarter in 2024 and market expectations of SEK 908 million, according to Bloomberg's compilation.
Net sales fell slightly to SEK 32 billion, from SEK 33 billion last year. The company saw organic sales growth of 4.6 percent, primarily driven by growth in North America.
"Despite a pressured price environment, we managed to compensate for most of the US tariff-related cost increases during the third quarter," writes CEO Yannick Fierling in the interim report.
