An elderly woman has died after being hit by a tram, writes Göteborgs-Posten.
The accident occurred at 3 pm on Wednesday on Artillerigatan.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance, but early in the evening, Sahlgrenska University Hospital's press department announced that she had died from her injuries.
The accident is being investigated as manslaughter. For the time being, there is no suspect, writes the police on their website.
