A man in his 70s is sentenced to day fines after sending pornographic letters to young female leaders in free churches across the country, reports P4 Halland.
In the letters, the man writes about coarse sexual fantasies. Some also contained clippings or photos from pornographic magazines. Several of the letters were signed as "The Pastor".
The first confirmed letter was sent in 1997.
For over 25 years – until June 2023 when the last letter was posted – the man continued to write to different women. In the district court, he is now convicted of 24 cases of sexual harassment.
He – who is from Western Sweden – will also have to pay damages to several of the victims.
