It was last winter that four elderly women in Huskvarna were assaulted by the two men in their home at night.
Now the Göta Court of Appeal has upheld the sentence against the men - nine years in prison each - for three counts of aggravated robbery and one attempted burglary.
However, the men, who are in their 20s, were acquitted of sexual assault against one of the women.
According to the Göta Court of Appeal, it is proven that the woman was subjected to sexual acts by one of the men. However, the court does not believe it has been established which of the men committed the act.
Therefore, it is not possible to convict either of them of the crime, the court writes in a press release.
