A man in his 80s from Norway died in the head-on collision between a car and a motorhome on E14 just east of Åre on Thursday evening, reports P4 Jämtland.
According to the police, the car ended up in the oncoming lane for unknown reasons. The deceased man was traveling as a passenger in the car. The driver, a woman in her 75s, is seriously injured and is being cared for at the hospital.
A man and a woman in their 60s were traveling in the motorhome. One of them suffered minor injuries.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into causing bodily harm and reckless driving.
