A man in his 85s has died after being hit by a vehicle in Varberg on Monday morning, the police write on their website.
The alarm about the accident came at 06.40, and is said to have occurred on county road 850. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but his life could not be saved.
The incident is being investigated as reckless driving, but no one has been suspected.
