Swedish rower Ebba Einarsson was a good bit away from going directly to the A-final on 2,000 meters single sculls at the Paralympic Games in Paris. Einarsson finished fifth in her heat with a time of 11:35.91 and will have to rely on Saturday's repechage heat to reach the final, which will be decided on Sunday.
Only the winners of the two heats went directly to the A-final. In Einarsson's heat, it was Ukrainian Anna Sjeremet, 10:12.00, who secured the direct spot.
