The 24-year-old skier turned down the biathlon team's offer to join the development team. He said earlier this week that he wanted to be on the elite team; otherwise he would join the ski team.
"The association came back to me and we have made some adjustments," Einar Hedgart told NRK.
He has agreed to be on the development team and is aware that he needs to work on his shooting. He was allowed to train under the elite national team coach Anders Øverby, despite being on the development team.
Hedgart is above all a very good skier, and at the Olympics in February he won two golds and one bronze in skiing.
