The Metropolitan Police in London said in a statement on Tuesday that "the proactive investigation concerns a suspected conspiracy to commit arson."
Six locations in the London region, five of which have Jewish connections, have been attacked in recent weeks. The sixth attack targeted a Persian media organization that criticizes the Iranian regime.
The suspected perpetrators and instigators of the crimes have been arrested in the London area and Birmingham.
The most recent attack targeted a synagogue in Harrow over the weekend, when a burning bottle was thrown into the building. No one was injured in the attack.
