Anger has not competed since the Olympics, and he announced a week ago that he would not compete in the World Cup again this season. Now the 23-year-old has definitely made up his mind.
Anger caught a cold that developed into an ear infection while in Val di Fiemme.
He had hopes of making it back to the World Cup in either Norway or the USA.
There will be no more World Cups for me this year. I have decided that now. I have done my last World Cup, unfortunately.
He aims to compete in the Swedish Championships at the end of March.
