Jonas Kanje, editor-in-chief of Sydsvenskan, succeeds Caspar Opitz as the Public Media Ombudsman.
The Public Media Ombudsman (MO) is part of the media industry's self-regulatory system and is tasked with ensuring that Swedish media adhere to the industry's ethical guidelines.
Jonas Kanje will take office on September 21, 2026.
