Former Formula 1 owner Eddie Jordan has passed away due to cancer, according to his family.
Eddie Jordan founded the Formula 1 team Jordan, which existed between 1991 and 2005, and was also a businessman and TV personality.
It was in Jordan that seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher started his F1 career.
"'EJ' showed an abundance of charisma, energy, and Irish charm everywhere. We feel a great emptiness without him", writes the family.
Eddie Jordan was 76 years old.
