Now Kraft says that Ed Sheeran asked him to donate $2 million to "help in the region," the BBC reports.
The request came after Macklemore said he plans to donate $1 million to Palestinian organisations and humanitarian aid, according to Kraft. Ed Sheeran himself will donate $2 million, according to Kraft, who says he has been urged to give the same amount.
“Ed now plans to reach out to other arena owners, and our goal is to continue to work together to build bridges,” Robert Kraft wrote in a statement released by his arena, Gillette Stadium, in Boston.
