Uppsala has until the end of August to collect 2 million kronor, otherwise the club risks forced relegation.
Now the club has announced that club manager Linn Andersson and coach Julius Brekkan will leave. Brekkan will stay through the summer and the transfer window, but will then leave.
"This is not about their work or commitment. It is about the conditions under which the association now operates," says chairwoman Linda Zillén.
On Wednesday evening, Uppsala lost 2–3 to BK Häcken after pitch damage. The Löten sports field was declared unplayable by the referees and the match was moved twice before it was finally played at Bälinge IP.
Uppsala are last in the league.
