The number of confirmed Ebola cases continues to grow in Congo-Kinshasa. A total of 1,307 people have been confirmed infected, of whom 377 have died, according to authorities in the country.
The current Ebola outbreak has been caused by the so-called Bundibugyo variant, for which there is no vaccine or specific treatment. Clinical trials of a potential vaccine will begin in the coming days, according to the WHO.
