The 30-year-old was in control throughout the race and finished in 1:38.50. David Nilsson came second and Kenyan William Nyarondia Morwabe finished third.
On the women's side, Evelina Henriksson won in a time of 1:53.28. Second place went to Sylvia Medugu Kiberenge of Kenya and Hanna Lindholm of Sweden was third.
