Energy Minister Ebba Busch (KD) is now calling in representatives of the electricity network companies after the announcement that Vattenfall and Ellevio are raising electricity network fees.
On X, Busch writes that next week there will be "several meetings with electricity network companies and other actors to sort this out. I have also asked the Energy Market Inspectorate to come to the ministry and report on the situation."
On Thursday, it emerged that from the turn of the year, Vattenfall will increase the fee by 14 percent or approximately SEK 130 per month for an electrically heated villa and SEK 35 for an apartment.
The country's electricity network company has a monopoly and has increased the fee by almost 60 percent over the last ten years.
