The World Cup restarts after the Olympics in Italy with a freestyle sprint in Falun on Saturday and a skiathlon on Sunday. During the Olympics, Ebba Andersson took silver in the latter distance.
Her replacement in the skiathlon will be Johanna Hagström.
In addition to the silver in the skiathlon, Andersson also won silver in the 10-kilometer freestyle and in the relay, and gold in the five-mile race during the Olympics.
Edvin Anger has already withdrawn from Falun, and William Poromaa and Jonna Sundling are also out, all due to illness.
