This concerns Saturday's Reistadslöpet and Sunday's season finale Bardufoss-Finnsnes. Both races take place in Norway and are 4.6 and 6 miles long, respectively.

There, Andersson will measure her strength against her former national team colleague Stina Nilsson, who has made a success during her first season in Ski Classics. Nilsson has won three consecutive competitions – Vasaloppet, Birkebeinerrennet, and Marcialonga Bodø.

Ebba Andersson won Reistadslöpet in 2022.

On Monday, the organizer also announced that Swedish national team skier Johanna Hagström and German star Victoria Carl will compete in the long-distance cup now that the regular ski season is over.
