Ebba Andersson was completely dominant in the premiere of the Swedish Championship in cross-country skiing in Kalix.
In the women's 10 kilometer classic, the skiing star crossed the finish line a whole two minutes ahead of second-place Jonna Sundling – who, due to illness, had not competed since the 50 kilometer event at the World Championship.
She is in a class of her own, says Sundling to Expressen.
With Andersson's fine form, there was therefore no greater showdown between the two World Championship queens who each took three gold medals in Trondheim.
The bronze went to Sofia Henriksson, which completed the podium with only skiers from Piteå Elit.
Today's Swedish Championship gold for Andersson, the 14th in her career, comes just a few days after her victories in the long-distance Ski Classics cup over the weekend.
