The 28-year-old ski star left Italy with a total of four medals. In addition to Sunday's gold in the 5km, she took three silvers: in the 20km skiathlon, the 10km freestyle and the relay.
The gold in the 5km was sweet revenge for Andersson after she fell twice in the relay when Sweden lost the gold. She also fell in the 5km, but the Swede was superior after that.
The gold means a lot, of course. And if it weren't for this tiredness and emptiness and struggling with the little energy that was left, I might have shed a few tears, too, Andersson said after the race.
