"Harry Bild had a fantastic football career behind him in both Sweden and abroad. He also had a successful national team career and was awarded several different awards over the years", the club writes.

Bild broke through in IFK Norrköping where he won four Swedish Championships before becoming a foreign pro, first in Swiss FC Zürich and then in Feyenoord in the Dutch league. At the end of the 1960s, he returned home to Sweden and Öster where he was part of winning Allsvenskan again in 1968.

He played 28 A-international matches, scoring 13 goals.

Harry Bild was 88 years old.
