It became a really expensive Easter celebration in Jönköping for two young people who had parked on the shopping center Asecs parking lot overnight. When they woke up on Sunday morning, they had received parking fines of 15,000 and 10,500 kronor, respectively, reports P4 Jönköping.
In connection with the annual motor show, thousands of people always gather on the parking lot to party. To prevent chaos, the parking fee was increased this year to 3,000 kronor per hour during the night.
I bought my car for 20,000 and now I've got a parking invoice of over 10,000 kronor. I'll never go to Jönköping again, says one of the affected young people to the radio.
The partying on the parking lot during Easter eve was very chaotic. According to the police, there was, among other things, a lot of intoxication, reports local media.
