East Timor Joins ASEAN as 11th Member After 14-Year Campaign

Membership gives East Timor increased investment opportunities and access to a broader regional market.

The President of the USA, Donald Trump, is on his way to the Asean meeting, and states that a peace agreement between Thailand and Cambodia will be signed as soon as he lands in Malaysia.

It is one of several wars Trump claims to have ended.
