E4 is closed in both directions after a truck accident north of Gävle. According to the Swedish Transport Administration's website, the road will be completely closed during the rescue work, until 11 o'clock.
We are on site and it is a truck that has driven into the guardrail, says the rescue service's alarm manager Emil Berggren to SVT Gävleborg.
The accident occurred in the southbound direction between Hagsta and Skarvberget. The damage to the guardrail is extensive, according to the rescue service.
It is several hundred meters that are damaged and the guardrail has been torn off, says Emil Berggren.
