In a post on its website, the federation writes that it no longer has confidence in Infantino.
"We believe that FIFA needs new leadership from 2027 onwards. But a new president is not enough. The way FIFA is governed must also change," the federation writes.
A week ago, the Nordic football associations issued a joint statement with a similar message. They called for a “comprehensive and independent review” of how FIFA is governed.
No federation has yet put forward a formal candidate to challenge Infantino ahead of the congress in March. The deadline for nominations is November 18.
