Since the cancelled competition, Duplantis has undergone tests, including an MRI scan. The results came in today and it was encouraging news ahead of the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
"No injuries whatsoever to "Mondo's" groin or back," writes Duplantis' agent Daniel Wessfeldt in a text message to TT.
Now ten days of treatment and lighter training await before the pole vault star is expected to be fully recovered, according to Wessfeldt.
This summer's European Athletics Championships will be held in Birmingham from August 10-16.
