Police in Köniz near the capital Bern were left speechless when they went through the images taken by a speed camera on April 13 this year. Among the speeding drivers was a duck, the municipality announced on its Facebook page over the weekend.
The duck in question flew at 52 kilometers per hour on a stretch with a speed limit of 30, according to the post.
Then the matter became even more bizarre.
It turned out that a very similar duck had been caught by a speed camera seven years earlier: at exactly the same spot, with exactly the same speed – and on exactly the same date.
The municipality initially thought it was a joke. However, Swiss police claim that the radar system is impossible to manipulate.
